The GAZ-66 with BM-21 represents a compact and highly mobile adaptation of the Soviet BM-21 “Grad” multiple rocket launcher system, mounted on the rugged GAZ-66 4×4 truck chassis. Developed to provide airborne, light infantry, and second-line units with organic rocket artillery, this configuration sacrificed the full 40-tube launcher of the standard Ural-375/4320 Grad in favor of a reduced tube count, allowing the system to operate in tighter terrain and with greater tactical flexibility. Firing 122 mm rockets, the GAZ-66-mounted BM-21 retained the Grad’s devastating area-saturation capability while benefiting from the truck’s excellent cross-country performance, simplicity, and ease of maintenance. Though less common than its full-size counterpart, this variant exemplified Soviet doctrine emphasizing mobility, rapid deployment, and concentrated firepower at the tactical level.
Three Scales: Vehicle comes in three scales 15mm / 1:100 ,20mm / 1:76, 28mm / 1:56 (But it can be scaled to anything you want)
Pre-supported: It comes pre-supported in all three scales.
