The British Challenger 1 deployed during the Gulf War—particularly in Operation Granby—featured notable modifications that distinguished it from standard service variants. Most prominently, many vehicles were fitted with additional appliqué armor packages, bolted onto the turret and hull to enhance protection against Iraqi anti-tank threats such as RPGs and guided missiles. This supplemental armor increased survivability in the high-threat desert environment without requiring a full redesign of the base Challenger 1 platform. Alongside these upgrades, the tanks retained their powerful 120mm rifled gun and advanced (for the time) fire control systems, enabling British crews to achieve exceptional long-range accuracy. The modified Challengers proved highly effective in combat, famously achieving some of the longest-range tank kills in history while sustaining minimal losses, underscoring both the robustness of the design and the value of the added armor enhancements.
Three Scales: Vehicle comes in three scales 15mm / 1:100 ,20mm / 1:76, 28mm / 1:56 (But it can be scaled to anything you want)
Pre-supported: It comes pre-supported in all three scales.
