101000 ZSU-23-4V1

The ZSU-23-4V1 was an upgraded variant of the Soviet ZSU-23-4 “Shilka” self-propelled anti-aircraft system, designed to improve reliability and fire-control performance. Retaining the quad 23 mm autocannons, the V1 introduced enhanced radar electronics, stabilized targeting systems, and improved crew ergonomics, making it more effective against low-flying aircraft and helicopters. Its mobility and all-terrain capability allowed it to operate alongside armored formations, providing vital short-range air defense. The ZSU-23-4V1 remained a key component of Soviet and allied air-defense forces, valued for its combination of rapid-fire capability and battlefield adaptability.
